A. Rene LeBeau, 94, of Ambassador Avenue passed away on Monday, April 17, 2017, at Kent County Hospital. He was the husband of the late Marie Blanche (Moreau) LeBeau. Born in Pawtucket, He was the son of the late Joseph and Aurore (Bessette) LeBeau and had previously lived in Seekonk and South Attleboro, Massachusetts.

Rene had worked for many years as a Financial Manager at the Stillman White Company before retiring in 1985. A US Army Veteran, Rene served his country proudly in WWII. As an avid golfer he was a former member of the Segregansett Country Club and it’s “Hole in One Society” as well as a fan of the Boston Red Sox.

He is survived by his sons Paul and wife Sandy, Robert and wife Renee, and son in law James the husband of his late daughter Diane Thurber as well as grandchildren Bryan, Danielle, Julie, Jennelle, Evan, great-grandchildren Halleigh, Hunter, Brantley and his best pal “Brooksie.”

The funeral will be held on Friday at 9:00am from the Darlington Mortuary of L. Heroux and Sons, 1042 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret Church, 1098 Pawtucket Avenue, Rumford at 10:00am. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5:00-8:00pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations to United Methodist Elder Care 40 Irving Avenue East Providence, RI 02914 would be appreciated.
